Sierra Health Foundation grant helps get SSI for residents
In 2009 Sierra Health Foundation provided us with a grant so we were able to assist residents obtain the benefits to which they were entitled, particularly SSI.

Sacramento Self Help Housing had a press conference and Bake Sale to raise funds and awareness about the impending cut in our funding. Many good people from Salvation Army, Mercy Housing, STEP, and many other organizations came out to support us, buying cookies for exorbitant prices and cheering us on.

New mural adds pleasant look to our office area
In 2003, when we shared office space with Francis House, we were told we could have our little office painted. We were very glad this was possible, because we were lucky enough to know two very talented artists who had just painted the mural at the Volunteers of America building on Bannon Street.

Let Them Eat Cake
On the 14th of July we had our 3rd Annual "Let's Eat Cake" benefit! Thanks to Greg Bunker Executive Director of Francis House for doing such a great job on the photos.

SSHH Always Appreciates your generous donations that help achieve our mission!
